So not much cooking tonight with questionable power and a tropical storm slowly dragging itself across us, but so far we still have electricity and internet. So Christey and I figured we’d do a fun meme (by way of Jenn, The Leftover Queen) and answer the question of:
100 things every omnivore should eat at least once
Here’s what to do:
1) Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
2) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating.

Great guys! I love how you both have different stuff on yours! So why no heirloom tomatoes Christey? Allergies?
Wednesday, 20. August 2008
jenn – heh well, actually, no tomatoes at all and not allergies, just taste.
I hate tomatoes completely and totally.
Peter has a theory about people who hate tomatoes possibly have an allergy and their body knows since it is such a strong relative to nightshade, or something like that. which makes since to me.
I will eat them cooked as long as they are covered up really well with cheese or oil or garlic or whatever, or i will just picked them out.

Kaolin really is a clay. Taking a very little bit of it dissolved in water is said to be really good for drawing out impurities in the digestive tract, after a rice and juice fast; I don’t know from experience- the only kaolin I’ve ingested is the stuff I’ve accidentally swallowed while putting on a clay face mask.
